Joseph W. Woehler

Joseph William Woehler, 63, of Medway, Ohio passed away in his home on Wednesday, July 28, 2021. He was born December 22, 1957 in Lima, Ohio to Quentin Gaynell and Sharon Elaine (Lunz) Woehler. He worked at Automated Building Components in Trotwood for 33 years until his illness forced him to retire. Joseph's favorite place to be was outside with nature. He took long daily walks in the woods. Joseph loved fishing, morel mushroom hunting, gathering nuts for his squirrels, and collecting deer antlers. He also enjoyed collecting knives, guns, stamps, and old coins. Joseph was a kind, loving, supportive, and dependable father, son, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. Joseph leaves to cherish his memory: daughter, Danielle (Bobby) Woehler; son, Dustin Woehler; four grandchildren, Logan Ware, Isaiah Lawrence, Justuis Lawrence, and Hayden Woehler; one great-grandson, Mylo Ware; brother, Daryl Woehler; sisters, Joan Smith and Deanna Woehler; and a host of nieces and nephews who he cherished, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Quentin G. Woehler. Joseph married and divorced Vickie L. Fugate who also preceded him in death. A Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 13, 2021 at Trinity Lighthouse Church, 4701 Frederick Pike, Dayton, Ohio 45414. Arrangements entrusted to the care of KINLEY Funeral Home.
