Donald Ewalt Herman, Jr., 68, of Friendsville, MD, died Sunday, July 25, 2021, at WVU Hospital’s Inc., Morgantown, WV. He is survived by his loving wife Lisa, with whom he just celebrated 25 years of marriage; his mother, Shirley (Arnold) Herman, Washington, PA; two sons, Jason (Jennifer) Herman and Christopher (Chelsea) Herman, all of Middletown, MD: one daughter, Anne (Matthew) Barclay, Morgantown, WV; four grandchildren, Andrew Herman, Connor Herman, Madison Herman, Michael Barclay and two expected soon. The family chooses to remember Don, Dad, Grandpa, as the rock of our family. Whether it was loving his wife, spending time with his children, or playing with his grandchildren, he always held family above all else. Don is also survived by three brothers, Ron (Paula) Herman, Washington; Tom (Jackie) Herman, McMurray, PA; Rob (Anne) Herman, Cranberry, PA; as well as many nieces and nephews. Born December 7, 1952, in McMurray, he was the son of Shirley (Arnold) Herman and the late Donald Ewalt Herman, Sr. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Wyatt. Mr. Herman was the general manger for Keystone Lime Co. and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Piedmont, WV. He received his B.S. degree from Grove City College, Grove City, PA. Friends will be received at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 34 Jones St., Piedmont, WV, 26750, on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the church on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev.
