Ginny Lehnertz

Virginia “Ginny” Lehnertz, of Rollingstone, passed away July 25, 2021. She was born on August 12, 1937, in Winona to Al and Veronica (Arnoldy) Rivers. Ginny married Gerald John Lehnertz. Together they had three children, Lori, Kristi and Steve. She opened Ginny’s Super Club in Rollingstone in 1978 where it continued to be a strong part of her life for 43 years. She was strongly involved in the Rollingstone community as well as the Luxenberg Museum and Luxenberg heritage and history. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She was a proud, strong mother, sister and grandmother. Ginny loved gardening, cooking, socializing and entertaining. She loved her family and her friend of 55 years, Tom. She is survived by her dear friend Tom Hartert; three children: Lori (Frederick) Spicer, Kristi Lehnertz, and Steve (Cheryl) Lehnertz; 6 grandchildren: Jamison (Jackie), Sarah (Sean), Elizabeth, Kyle (Lydia), Adam, and Holly. Ginny was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald and sisters: Susan Glowczewski and Kathleen Danielson. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Rollingstone. Interment will be at Holy Trinity Church Cemetery, Rollingstone. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Services entrusted to Fawcett Junker Funeral Home & Crematory, Winona, MN and Fountain City, WI.
