Mrs. Iva Moore Madden, age 78, of Greenup, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord on Saturday July 24, 2021 at SOMC Hospital in Portsmouth, Ohio surrounded by her family. She was born October 4, 1942 in Lewis County, Kentucky to the late Robert Moore and Maudie Hicks Moore. Iva was a homemaker, a member of Wright’s Chapel Church. She enjoyed going to church, reading her bible and spending time with her family, especially her two granddaughters. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Sterling Moore, Stanley Moore and Chester Moore. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years Roger Madden, one son Chris (Teresa) Madden of South Shore, Kentucky, two granddaughters, Cassidy Madden and Shelby Madden of South Shore, Kentucky, one brother Clarence Moore of Frankfort, Kentucky and three sisters, Vada Moore of Quincy, Kentucky, Verlia Moore of Greenup County Kentucky and Irene Kiser of Garrison, Kentucky. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 30, 2021 at Wright’s Chapel Church in Garrison, Kentucky with Brother Clarence Hall, Brother Larry Joe Madden and Brother Morgan Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Moore Family Cemetery on McDowell Road in Lewis County, Kentucky. Friends may visit starting at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Wright’s Chapel Church until time of service on Friday.
