Vernon Edward Brown, Jr. (Lansing)

Mr. Vernon Edward Brown, Jr. passed away Thursday, July 22, 2021, in Lansing, Michigan at the age of 28 years old. He was born September 25, 1992, in Lansing, Michigan, the son of Vernon E. Brown, Sr. and Michelle M. Roper. Vernon was a lifelong resident of Lansing, Michigan. He worked factory, roofing construction, carnival, and was a handyman. Vernon could fix almost anything if he couldn’t, he would tear it apart and start from the beginning. He was eager to learn. Vernon graduated with his GED and attended culinary school in Grand Rapids. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, swimming, boating, and hiking. He enjoyed people and was a caring, loving, forgiving, adventurous, kind, devoted, and very determined individual. Vernon was always willing to lend a hand. His hobbies included cars, motorcycle riding with friends, basketball, playing music—Vernon Raps –, dancing, and spending time with his family and friends. His smile brightened any room, any place. He leaves to cherish his memory daughter, Laticyanna Watson; parents, Michelle (Steven) Roper and Vernon Brown, Sr.; grandmother, Tommie Black; sister, Alexis Brown; brother, DeVante Brown; stepsister, Kenisha Roper; stepbrother, Steven M.
