MANNING – Benjamin Dalton Page, 21, passed away Saturday, July 24, 2021. Born January 19, 2000, in North Charleston, he was the son of Marshall Vann Page, Jr. and Robin Lynn Faires Page. Dalton was a 2018 graduate of Laurence Manning Academy and a 2020 graduate of Central Carolina Technical College. He was working with his father as a timber buyer. Dalton was an assistant coach with the Manning/Santee American Legion Baseball Team. He was a member of Manning United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents of Manning, he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Kathleen “GiGi” Faires Locker (David) of Bluffton; paternal grandmother, Barbara Jean “Grandmama” Page of Summerville; two aunts, Barbara Faires of Easley and Allison Page Newman of Charlotte, NC; two uncles, Robert Warren Hussey of Manning and Thomas Bradford Page (Rachel) of Summerville; cousins, Christian Wells Hussey of Clemson, Elizabeth Kathleen Hussey of Manning, Reese Page and Drew Page, both of Summerville, Chase Newman and Madison Newman, both of Charlotte, NC; special friend, Blakely Owens of Andrews; and several great aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Robert Willson “PaPa” Faires; and paternal grandfather, Marshall Vann “Grandaddy” Page, Sr. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 30, 2021, in the Bubba Davis Gymnasium at Laurence Manning Academy with the Rev. David McManus and the Rev. Dr. Spencer Jordan officiating. Burial will follow at Clarendon Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Hunter Robinson, Will Williamson, John Anderson Aycock, Grayson Moore, Hayes Goodson, Wells Robinson, Drew DiDonato and Anthony DiDonato. Honorary pallbearers will be the 2016-2018 Laurence Manning Academy Baseball Teams, Manning/Santee American Legion Baseball Team, and the LMA Class of 2018. The family will receive friends at the residence, 1830 Telegraph Road, Manning. Memorials may be made to Laurence Manning Academy, P.O. Box 278, Manning, SC 29102.
