Camille J. Schwarz, 89, of Flanders, NJ passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021 suddenly at home. Camille was born on May 3, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY. She has lived in Flanders since 1969 and previously lived in Bergen County, NJ. Camille was a retired secretary for the Federal Reserve Bank in New York City. Camille enjoyed cooking for her family, eating and decorating her house for the holidays. She liked playing games in her free time, including card games and word searches. Camille had a love for animals, and at one time ran an animal shelter in Roxbury, NJ. She was a world traveler, and took trips to places like Alaska, California and South America. She also enjoyed watching cooking shows and shopping. Her greatest joy in life was her family, especially getting to watch her great-grandsons play together. Camille is survived by her daughter, Beatriz Nunamacher, her 3 grandchildren, Dorothy Calchera and husband Matthew, Ashley Zisa, and Richard Nunamcher, and her 4 great grandchildren, William, Maxwell, Logan and Hunter. She was predeceased by her husband, George R. Schwarz, in 1994. She was also very thankful for 50+ years friendship with Agnes Cresce, Madeline Kirchner, her cousin Camilla Deprospo. A private graveside service will take place on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at Fairview Cemetery in Fairview, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at https://www.stjude.org/.
