David Anthony Ryggs, Jr.

David Anthony Ryggs Jr. passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, July 22, 2021, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 60 after battling cancer for two years. David was born on July 2, 1961 in Forsyth County to David A. Ryggs Sr. and Betty Woosley Ryggs. David loved God, his country, and his family with all his heart. He was a master of all trades, served in the Army Reserves, was a volunteer fireman, enjoyed boy scouting and built his own businesses. He was a great mentor and friend to many in the Arcadia community. He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Brenda; five wonderful children Anthony (Krystal), Laura, Jessica (Eric), Matthew (Brittany), Ashley; 11 grandchildren; and his sister Cynthia (Ricky). A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Interment will follow the service at Parklawn Memorial Park.
