Johnny Void Fowler, 59, of Chapmanville, departed this life on Thursday, July 22, 2021 from ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) at his residence.

 

He was born March 21, 1962 in Charleston, WV, the son of the late John Fowler and Argolis Cook Fowler.

 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Bobby Lee Fowler; two nephews, Billy Dale Fowler and Shawn Steele; and one niece, Argolis Marie Fowler.

 

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Doris Bartley Fowler; three daughters, Jessica (Brandon) Johnson, Jonie (Ricky) Davis, and Jennifer (Rex Pritt) Lambert; one son, Johnny Glen (Amber) Fowler; five sisters, Barbara Adkins, Patricia Fowler, Carolyn Bartley, Delores Steele, and Ella Martha Woods; one brother, Joe Fowler; eight grandchildren, Braylon, Ricky, Raegan, Alyssa, Jeremy, Kadynce, Colin, and Caleb; and special friend, Robbie Justice.

 

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm, Sunday, July 25, 2021 at Fowler Family Cemetery with Misty Sammons officiating.

 

Pallbearers will be Johnny Fowler, Ricky Davis, Brandon Johnson, Rex Pritt, Braylon Davis, Wade Adkins, Colin Robertson, and Danny Fowler.
