William Griggs 27, of Uncasville, CT passed away peacefully on July 20, 2021. He was born in New London, CT son of Sharon Griggs. Willie graduated from Montville High School in 2013, and Three Rivers Community College in May 2016. He worked at Home Depot, Mohegan Sun Casino, and Longshots Sports Café. Willie enjoyed all sports, hanging out with his friends, traveling and making people laugh. When he walked into the room you knew he was there. He is predeceased by his grandmother; Effie Daniels, brother; DeJohn Strong, and Aunt; Shirley Brown. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother; Sharon Griggs, three brothers; Anthony Strong Jr., Trayvon and Kevin Griggs, two sisters; Belinda Edmonds and Edwina Griggs, and a host of other relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Mondy, July 26, 2021 at St. Johns Christian Church, 346 Shennecosset Road Groton, CT at 12:00 Noon. Friends and family may view from 11 am until the time of the service at the church.
