Adeline Tzupa Obituary

Adeline Tzupa, wife of the late William Tzupa, and daughter to the late Nick and Dorothy Biblow passed away on July 21, 2021 at the age of 80.

It is with sadness but also thankfulness that we announce that Adeline passed away in the presence of family on July 21, 2021 at the age of 80.

Adeline was born on the farm between Buchanan and Springside.   Adeline was the first of five children to be born to Nick and Dorothy Biblow.  She was raised on the family farm and attended school at both Northlake School and Canora.  She married William Tzupa (Bill) on October 11, 1958 and together they raised four children.  Not afraid of work, Adeline did a variety of jobs through her life including cook, hairdresser, nurse’s aide and her most important roles as wife, mother, baba and “double” baba.  She is remembered for her large gardens, fantastic meals, her love of travel, music, dancing and socializing over cards.  She loved to joke and one of her caregivers at Extendicare shared how Adeline’s laughter was so infectious that she could get an entire group laughing with her.

Adeline was predeceased by her parents, Nick and Dorothy Biblow, her husband Bill Tzupa and sister in law Gina Tzupa.  She is survived by her children, Wes (Karen) Tzupa, Wayne Tzupa, Wendy (Greg) Hunko and Willette (Chad) Burback as well as grandchildren Anna Marie (Shaun) Shewchuk, Aaron Cronk, Ashley Cronk, Danielle Hunko, Brendan Hunko, Tawni Tzupa, Connor Tzupa, Josh Burback, Kalan Burback and great grandson William Shewchuk.  She is also survived by brother Jim (Germaine) Biblow, Andy (Donna) Biblow, sister Marge (Bernie) Slugoski, Eileen (Don) Danyluk), brother in law Mike Tzupa and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Prayer service for Adeline will be held on Friday, July 30, 2021 from St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church in Yorkton, with Fr. Leonid Malkow CSsR. officiating

The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021 from St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church, with Father Leonid Malkov CSsR. officating.
