Mr. Edward “Eddie” Cleveland Hill, 76, resident of Wynne, Arkansas, departed this life on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at Regional One Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 76. Eddie was born in Trumann, Arkansas on July 6, 1945, the son of Edward J.W. and Orah Lee (Lowery) Hill.

Eddie proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps, and on April 5, 1980, he and Lequeita “Sissy” (Webster) Hill were united in marriage. Mr. Hill worked in farming, and was an avid outdoorsman. He greatly enjoyed hunting, fishing, and tinkering with lawn mowers.

Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jeffrey Mark Hill.

He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Sissy Hill of the home; a son, Michael Edward Hill and wife Terrie of Wynne; two daughters, Lora Lee Ann Hill of Pennsylvania, and Crystal Lee Hill of Melbourne; three brothers, Dwight Ray Hill and wife Annie of Tilton, David Lee Hill and wife Nancy of Vanndale, and Dennis Hill and wife Tammy of Harrisburg; five sisters, Carolyn Diane Smith of Vanndale, Patsy Lorane Henderson of Tilton, Brenda Earline Jarrett and husband Billy of Hickory Ridge, Wanda Lee Stafford of Vanndale, and Sharon Kay Hill of Hickory Ridge; an uncle, Delbert Lowery; two grandchildren, Joshua Scott Orvis and Kelly Malloy; a grand-dog, Mattie Mae; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 24, 2021, in the Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Wynne with Bro. Tim Jarrett officiating. Interment will follow in McElroy Cemetery near Wynne.

Friends may visit at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. to service time.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Windell Allen, Lynn Henderson, David Hill, Jr., Taddy Hill, Billy Ray Jarrett, and Tony Wiggington. Honorary pallbearers are Wally Hill and J.D. Taylor.
