Paul Langley Hot Springs, Arkansas Obituary

Paul Langley

Paul Langley, age 68, of Royal, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021, in his home surrounded by family. He was born on December 28, 1952, in Little Rock, the son of Cecil C. Langley and Dolly Pruitt Langley. On May 14, 1977, he married Paula Moix. He is preceded in death by his father; his brother, Mike Langley; and his mother-in-law, Joyce Ringer. He was a member of the Church of the Open Door. He was retired from Reynolds Aluminum after 20 plus years of dedicated hard work. Paul was known and loved by many, without hesitation he would give you the shirt off his back or lend a hand in whatever way possible. He never met a stranger. He was an avid Razorback fan and his television and radio rarely changed off of a sports channel. But much more than his love for sports, was his love for family and his savior, Jesus. Paul took care of his family better than anyone could hope for. The joy in his eyes when his grandsons, daughters, or wife came into his sight was incomparable. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Paula Langley; his mother, Dolly Langley; two daughters, Charity Hixon (Waco Hill) of Hot Springs and Nikki (Alex) Baldwin of Royal; four grandchildren, Kyle Hixon of Russellville, Keaton Hixon of Hot Springs, Zakary McDaniel and Weston McDaniel of Royal; two nephews, Shane Langley and Chris Langley; several nieces, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM, Saturday, July 24, 2021, with Bro. Teddy Frye officiating in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs. Interment will be in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held at 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Kyle Hixon, Keaton Hixon, Alex Baldwin, Don Barber and Waco Hill. Honorary Pallbearers are Tom Overton, Roger McClure, B.J. Songer, Rocky Smith, Steve Reynolds, Steve Boyles, Steve DeLinde, Alan Willis and many, many more. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
