ROCHESTER, NY – July 18, 2021 at age 80. Norman R. King Jr. was born July 1, 1941 in Virgilina, VA. He was 1 of 11 children born to Virgie Perkins King and Norman R. King Sr. He graduated from Joe Toler High School in 1959. After graduating high school, he moved to Rochester, NY where he resided until his death. He married Earple Smith in 1962 and had 3 children; Sandra, Wayne and Carmala King. During his early years, he worked at Dolomite until he started a career at Rochester Products (GM) in 1965, where he worked as a Tool Engineer until he retired in 1999. He remarried in 1994 to Barbara Martin. He is predeceased by his parents, 8 of his siblings. He is survived by; his 3 children, Sandra, Wayne and Carmala King, 3 grandchildren; 1 brother, William King and 1 sister, Myra Speller, nieces, nephews, host of other relatives and friends. Friends may call Sunday, July 25 from 1 PM-2 PM at The Latimer Chapel. Funeral Service to follow. Interment Private. Masks required.July 1, 1941 - July 18, 202107/01/194107/18/2021
