Ona Puzinauskas, 99, Long Beach, Indiana, passed away Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 2:30 am in Addison Pointe Health & Rehabilitation Center, Chesterton, Indiana.

Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 am, Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Buffalo & 10th Streets, Michigan City, Indiana with  Rev. David Kime officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 am till 10:30 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church.  Arrangements are being handled by the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana.

She was born April 16, 1922 in Birzai, Lithuania.  Surviving are daughter, Dalia (William, III) Wendt of Long Beach, Indiana; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Anne Wendt of Truckee, California, William George Wendt of Tyringham, Massachusetts and Geoffrey Christian (Nadia) Wendt of Beverly Shores, Indiana; six great-grandchildren, Thomas Zenonas Pullen, Isabelle Ona Pullen, Henry James Pullen, Zenonas William Wendt, Jack Jonah Wendt and Richard James Wendt along with a sister residing in Lithuania; She was preceded in death by husband, Zenonas Puzinauskas;   

Ona was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church, River Forest, Illinois and was a very active member of the Nineteenth Century Charitable Association Women's Club, Oak Park, Illinois. She retired as a Microbiology Instructor from Northwestern University.
