Arthur Roldan Sr was born March 15, 1956, in San Bernardino, CA to Miguel Lopez Roldan and Juanita Roldan who both preceded him in death. As a young boy Art lived in Highgrove, CA for a period of time before moving to Arlinton, CA with his family where he and his siblings were raised by their mother. Art was the fifth born of ten children: Brothers - Miguel Roldan, Tommy Roldan, Arturo Roldan (deceased), Adrian Roldan (deceased)Mark Roldan (deceased), Asencion Hernandez, Ricardo Roldan, Raymond Roldan. Sisters - Victoria DeCosta, Laura Roldan Andrea Paz and Monica Roldan, Lisa Roldan, Cindy Rodriguez Art attended Highgrove Elementary School, Chemawa Middle School and attended and graduated from Riverside Poly Highschool in 1974. At Poly high school Art played soccer for the school’s first ever soccer team. He was responsible for initiating the same soccer program that is still in place to current date. Art's largest accomplishment was the family he created. He was also such a innovative entrepreneur and owned many companies and businesses throughout his life. He owned Roldan Express Trucking company in 1979-1992. He then owned Rookie's baseball card shop on Galena St. in Riverside, LaArts Sports Gallery in Riverside, HOF Sports Gallery in Riverside, Doomsday Watershed, Murrieta, CA, ProTeam Buns, LLC in Winchester, CA, Safeguard America Art married his sweetheart, Connie Roldan. They would go on to have 3 children Arthur Roldan Jr, Alec Roldan and Connie Roldan, Art leaves to cherish precious memories: His Wife Connie Roldan, His Son Art Roldan and Wife Tianya Roldan and their three children: Arthur, Jade and Vincent Roldan, Art's Son Alec Roldan his wife Ashley Roldan and their three children: Alec, Terrence and Zoey Roldan and Arts Daughter Connie Roldan, her fiancé John Johnson and their daughter, Stella Johnson and son, Alexander Johnson and a host of family, friends and business partners. ​Art was Loving, Smart, Loyal, Sarcastic, Truthful, Knowledgeable, Driven. He was strong-minded independent thinking man who valued loyalty and family over anything. He dreamed HUGE not just big and never seemed to care/worry about the simple things in life that most people worry about. Art will be remembered for his love, his love of the casinos, buffets, his motorcycles, His Mercedes, His love of framing and sports (USC, Dodgers, Raiders,) horses, The mountains, Denny’s Restaurant, playing pool, and history. Art's memory will forever live in our hearts.
