<p>With deepest sorrow, we announce that Christopher John Badach, age 34 our most beloved son, brother, father, family member, and friend passed away suddenly on Sunday July 18, 2021 at Holyoke Hospital.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Those who knew Christopher lost a shining light in their lives.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Christopher will be missed everyday by his parents Gregory J Badach and Naomi A. (Battey) Badach of Easthampton, his sister Cynthia L Messer, and his son Colton. Chris was born on August 9th 1986 and raised in Easthampton, Massachusetts. He graduated from Hampshire Regional High School in 2007. Chris worked for many local retail and restaurant businesses. He also worked successfully for several years as a machine operator for a manufacturing company in Greenfield. Chris was the happiest when he was working with customers and always had a big smile on his face.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Chris was very active in the Eathampton youth sports league, playing on Park and Rec baseball, soccer, and basketball teams. He continued his love for sports in high school with Varsity basketball and football. Chis also volunteered for many years at Sacred Heart Church as an altar server.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>One of Chris&rsquo;s favorite pastimes was playing pool. He competed in the APA 8 Ball League for several years and his team advanced through many competitions. His team was like family to him.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Vacationing with his family at Lake Seymour in Vermont was a place Chris loved because he could relax and connect with nature. An incredible accomplishment of Chris&rsquo;s was climbing Mt Washington (Tuckerman&#39;s Ravine Trail). He and his family also enjoyed vacationing at Cape Cod and Disney World. These are some of his family&#39;s favorite memories they will remember forever.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Chis devoted the last 4 years of his life to his son Colton. Colton was the love of his life; he loved Colton more than life itself. He loved spending all the time he could with him.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>He is survived by his mother; Namoi A. (Battey) Badach, Father; Gregory J Badach, Sister; Cynthia L Messer, Brother-in-Law; William L Messer, Niece; Brooklyn R Messer, Grandmother; Lorraine Herzig, Son; Colton and Colton&rsquo;s mother; Kristen, Uncle Bruce Badach (Martha) &amp; Uncles, David Battey (Jan), Jeremiah Battey (Lillian), and Mark Battey. Aunts,Lois Cross (Art) and Sylvia Kearny.&nbsp; Chris will be reunited in heaven by his loving grandparents John and Joan Badach and Wallace Herzig and his Aunt Leslie Badach.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Calling hours will be Sunday July 25 from 3 to 7 at Mitchell Funeral Home 15 Park St Easthampton, MA. The Funeral will be July 26 at Our Lady of the Valley Church Easthampton, MA at 10am with the burial to follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery on Mayher St Easthampton, MA. Donations in Chris&rsquo;s name can be made to the American Heart Association.&nbsp;</p>

With deepest sorrow, we announce that Christopher John Badach, age 34 our most beloved son, brother, father, family member, and friend passed away suddenly on Sunday July 18, 2021 at Holyoke Hospital. 

 

Those who knew Christopher lost a shining light in their lives. 

 

Christopher will be missed everyday by his parents Gregory J Badach and Naomi A. (Battey) Badach of Easthampton, his sister Cynthia L Messer, and his son Colton. Chris was born on August 9th 1986 and raised in Easthampton, Massachusetts. He graduated from Hampshire Regional High School in 2007. Chris worked for many local retail and restaurant businesses.
