<p>Beverly Hodges at 73 years old finished her life and began dancing with Jesus on July 22, 2021. Nicknamed by her father, Butch was born in Mobile Alabama in 1948 to Paul and Frances Swaney.&nbsp; She moved to Fayetteville, North Carolina as a young girl and grew up with her older sister Pat and younger siblings brother Paul Jr. and sister Teresa.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Butch graduated from Seventy First High School in 1968 and attended Fayetteville Beauty Academy where she obtained her cosmetologist license.&nbsp; Butch styled hair for 45 years owning her own salon and providing services to those living at Hope Mills Retirement Center. The ladies would line up every Thursday morning clambering for the first spot in her chair.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Butch and James met in high school at 16 and 17 years old, when he would drive her school bus. They were married 54 years and together 58. In her younger years, she enjoyed caring for their horses and raising dogs.&nbsp; Butch loved romance novels, bingo, the beach, and going out to eat with other couples. She relished finding collectibles and shopping for clothing. James would say she was part owner of QVC shopping network.&nbsp; Together her and James enjoyed cruising; one of her favorite vacations was going to Hawaii and sailing to the islands. Butch and James raised two boys Brandon and Aaron.&nbsp; They have three grandchildren Jenna, Wyatt, and Elaina.</p> <p>In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations are sent to Freedom Biker Church&#39;s Building fund.</p>

Beverly Hodges at 73 years old finished her life and began dancing with Jesus on July 22, 2021. Nicknamed by her father, Butch was born in Mobile Alabama in 1948 to Paul and Frances Swaney.  She moved to Fayetteville, North Carolina as a young girl and grew up with her older sister Pat and younger siblings brother Paul Jr. and sister Teresa.
