Joan S. Sellers, 83, of Ada, OK, formerly of Moline, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at her home. Funeral services will be 10am Monday, July 26, 2021 at Rafferty Funeral Home, Moline. Visitation will be 1-3pm Sunday at Rafferty Funeral Home, 2111-1st St A, Moline. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials can be made to Sacred Heart Church, Moline. Joan was born January 14, 1938 in Moline, the daughter of George and Alice (VanBranigan) Schinckel. She married Thomas J. Sellers on September 14, 1963 in Rock Island. He preceded her in death on May 8, 1984. She loved puzzles, dogs, Western movies, hanging out with the ladies at Westwood Terrace, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much. Survivors include her daughters, Connie Hodges, Moline, Dianna and her husband Mick Myers, Moline; sons, Thomas and wife Chris Sellers, Ada, OK, Darryle and wife Kim Sellers, Lawton, OK; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers, Emil, George, Lawrence, Eugene, Marvin, Melvin, and sisters, Francis, Lorraine, and Erma.
