Delores Alma “Dee” Simms Davis, 86
EAST LIVERPOOL - Delores Alma “Dee” Simms Davis, of East Liverpool, passed away Thursday, July 22, 2021, at the East Liverpool City Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was 86.
Born in Midland, March 1, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Hallie and Pearl Standley Simms. A lifetime area resident, she was a homemaker and an active member of the Oakland Free Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school and was a steward. A member of the East Liverpool High School Class of 1954 and the East Liverpool High School Alumni Association, she was also active in TOPS at one time.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald W. Davis. The couple married in 1954. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Debbie Davis in 1988, as well as a brother, Rev. Wayne Standley.
Her loving nieces and nephews are left to cherish her memory.
Rev. Norman Eckert will conduct a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Dawson Funeral Home. Friends may visit two hours prior to the service Monday. Following the service, family and friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center for fellowship.
Burial will be at Calcutta Cemetery.
