Barbara Jean Osborne, age 83, passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at her home in Lupton, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 11, 1937 in Flint, MI to Baily and Verna (Streu) Hunt. She lived in Lupton since 1971, formerly of Swartz Creek. Barb was a member of the Women’s Guild, the Council of Catholic Women, and the Holy Family Catholic Church in West Branch. She played the organ for over 30 years. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. Barb is survived by her daughter, Lori (Mike) Page of Lupton; son, Bill (Mary) Osborne of West Branch; grandchildren, Kelvin (Rilee) Page of Clarkston, Nathan Page of Madison Heights and Katy (Justin) Page of Grayling; and brother, Wes (Dodie) Hunt of Mt. Morris. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Donald “Bud”, and sisters, Joyce Goodman and Helen Bartes. Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Sunday, July 25, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 4:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be held on Monday, July 26, 2021 at Holy Family Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Father Emmanuel Finbarr will officiate. Burial will follow at Holy Family Cemetery. The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at Heartland Hospice, especially Ruth Ann and Kim.
