Obituary
Terrell “Terry” Lee Vickers, 76, of England, was called to his Heavenly home, Wednesday, July 21, 2021. He was the son and only child of the late James Delbert and Selma Jean DeVore Vickers. Terry was born April 16, 1945, in Kankakee, Illinois; moving to Arkansas in 1967.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, He is survived by his wife, Judy Richards Vickers; his son, Russell Lee Vickers and girlfriend Adrienne DeBlock of Ward; his daughters, Dawn (Michael) Bly and
Lora (James) Brashear, all of Greenwood; his step-daughter, Meyet Smith of Mobile, Alabama; 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Terry served his country during the Vietnam War, as an E-4 in the United States Air Force. He then devoted his life to protecting those on the home front as a police officer. He worked in several towns in Arkansas and also served as Chief of Police in Dewitt. Before his retirement, he served as an officer at McClellan Veterans Memorial Hospital in Little Rock.
Terry was an elder at Word of Life Church in England. He was known as a loving and giving person. He would “give you the shirt off of his back.” He dearly loved his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and his cats.

Memorial services for Terry will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, August 1, 2021, at the Word of Life Church in England.
