<p><strong>Allen Warren Thompson, Sr., 69, passed away on July 21, 2021. Allen worked as a maintenance operator for the Virginia Department of Transportation for most of his life. He was the son of the late, Lonnie Columbus Thompson and Ruth Lowe Thompson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Ruth Thompson, wife, Linda Beale Thompson, sister, Margie Lewis, nephew, Brent Anderson, niece, Sheila Lanier. He is survived by his son, Allen Warren Thompson, Jr. (Crystal) of Lexington, SC., step-son, Jason D. Rook (Rhonda) of Emporia, VA., sisters, Jane Thompson of Abbottsburg, Sue T. Galloway of Whiteville, NC., Nancy T. Mitchell (Larry) of Bladenboro, NC., Cathy T.
