<p> </p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:20px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><em>Mr. Jimmy Thrift, 53, of Valley, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at the EAMC Lanier Hospital in Valley.</em></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:20px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><em>Mr. Thrift was born on April 3, 1968 in Ashland, Alabama to the late Burley and Odell Thrift. He was also preceded in death by a son Troy Boyd.</em></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:20px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><em>Jimmy was a wonderful father who loved his family and friends. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing.</em></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:20px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><em>He is survived by his wife Raenita Thrift; sons, Kyle Thrift, Jimmy Jay Thrift (Misty Nix); adopted daughter, Jennifer Bledsoe; grandsons, William Boyd, Coa Boyd, Elijah Boyd, Adain Nix, Wyatt Thrift, Ryan Thrift; siblings, Margaret (Don) Elliott, Stanley Thrift, Jennie Thrift, Jackie (Tyrone) Colley; nieces and nephews, Madison Elliott, Jason (Nikki) Elliott, Angel Elliott, Danny Thrift, April (Andrew) Hicks, Jana (Ryan) Collins, Matthew (Montana) Colley; great nieces and great nephews, J.C. , Annabelle, Hannah, Dylan, Collin, Kaylee, Baylor, Ashton, and Preston.</em></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:20px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><em>Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021 at 12:00 Noon from the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home chapel in Valley with interment following in County Line Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Bogey Cotney officiating.
