Virginia Cimini

Virginia (Petruzella) Cimini, 100 of Palm Harbor, FL and formerly of Pittsfield, MA died on Wednesday July 21, 2021 at Manor Care Health Services in Palm Harbor. She was born in Lee, MA on May 25, 1921, a daughter of Angelo and Angela (DeFalco) Petruzella. She moved to Pittsfield at age 3 and attended local schools. Virginia was primarily a homemaker and was devoted to her family. She enjoyed crocheting, baking, flower gardening and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. While in Pittsfield, she was a member of the Christian Assembly Church. She was the widow of Thomas Cimini who died on October 16, 2015. They were married on September 17, 1939. Survivors include one daughter- Carol G. MacCartney of Palm Harbor, FL and one son- Ronald T. Cimini of Hamden, CT. She also leaves four grandchildren- Michelle Jones, Colleen Martell, Scott Cimini and Matthew Cimini; seven great grandchildren- Evan, Emily, Olivia, Aidan, Anabelle, Matteo, and Clyde; one brother- James Petruzella of San Jose, CA and nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by four sisters and three brothers including Concetta Leone, Mamie Marino, Grace Petruzella, and Mary Gasson and Frank, Isaiah, and Thomas Petruzella. FUNERAL NOTICE: A private graveside service for Virginia Cimini will be held in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Pittsfield, MA. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in care of FLYNN & DAGNOLI-BENCIVENGA FUNERAL HOME, 5 Elm St. Pittsfield, MA 01201.
