<p>Clyde &ndash; Betty Morgan Conway, 96, passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at Givens Estates Health Center.</p> <p>Betty was a native of Haywood County and a daughter of the late Jay and Eula Brown Morgan.&nbsp; In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jon R. Morgan and Charles W. Morgan; one sister, Lois Hardin; and two nieces, Laura Hardin and Sharon Morgan.&nbsp; Betty retired from Square D in Asheville with many years of service and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Asheville.</p> <p>She is survived by two nieces, Carolyn M. Bradley of Fayetteville and Mitzi L. Morgan of Atlanta; three nephews, William D. Hardin of Pembroke Pines, FL and James W. Morgan of Hazelwood and Hunter Morgan of Winston Salem.</p> <p>A graveside inurnment will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 25, 2021 at Locust Field Cemetery with the Reverend Leah Brown officiating.</p> <p>The care of Ms. Conway has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Homes of Canton and an online memorial register is available at &ldquo;Obituaries&rdquo; at www.wellsfuneralhome.com</p>

Clyde – Betty Morgan Conway, 96, passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at Givens Estates Health Center.

Betty was a native of Haywood County and a daughter of the late Jay and Eula Brown Morgan.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jon R. Morgan and Charles W. Morgan; one sister, Lois Hardin; and two nieces, Laura Hardin and Sharon Morgan.  Betty retired from Square D in Asheville with many years of service and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Asheville.
