<p>Mr. Therion Whitaker, 50, of 107 Wade Avenue, Dunn, passed away July 22, 2021. He leaves to cherish his memories: his devoted wife of almost 19 years - Carrie Blue; his loving mother - Patricia Whitaker of Milwaukee, WI; two sons - Chris Howard of Pembroke, GA, Cordero Blue of Benson; daughter - Hayley Blue of Raleigh; sister - Tanya Whitaker of Milwaukee, WI; brothers - Gladney Whitaker of Iowa, Thaxter Whitaker, Ty Whitaker, and Craig Berry all of Milwaukee, WI; sisters-in-law - Erica Berry, Denise Whitaker, and Tiffany Whitaker, Edna Council (Sam), Ann Dozier (Eric) all of Dunn; brother in-law - Brian Blue of Charlotte; some special and loyal love ones - Kenny Boggs of Pittsboro and the Karrie Bell family of Dunn; two grandchildren - Skylar and Maverick Blue; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.</p> <p>The public viewing will be Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at the Dafford Funeral Home, Dunn, from 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm. Masks are required to enter.</p> <p>The funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Cape Fear A Conference Headquarters, 25 Beaver Road, Erwin, following the facility's guidelines for entrance, capacity, and social distancing.</p> <p>Burial will follow in the Mt.
