Ronald “Ron” L. Robison, 68, of Norwalk, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at his residence. Born on July 14, 1953, in Willard, Ron was the son of Gerry (Ritz) Moyer and the late Earl Robison and the late James Moyer. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War as a member of the United States Army. Ron graduated from Willard High School as a member of the class of 1971. Ron was a skilled electrician and worked in the concrete industry for many years, mostly at Newcomer Concrete for over 13 years, retiring as a safety director.

Ron had a very caring heart and was always willing to help others. He was a lifetime member of the Norwalk VFW and was involved in the “Car Coddlers”, a classic car enthusiast group. In his spare time, Ron enjoyed golfing, being an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians, having his grandsons over for sleepovers to make his famous homemade waffles in the morning, driving his corvette. His greatest joy of all was spending time with his family.

Ron is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Brenda (Dorsey) Robison; children, Carie (Ryan) Brown of Republic and Matt Robison of Norwalk; 8 grandchildren, Timothy, Tighsen, Terrinn, Ashton, Easton, Mack, Garrett and Megan; 1 great-granddaughter, Rosalynn; mother, Gerry Moyer; sister, Norma (Joe) Hicks of Norwalk; brother, Jeff (Jenny) Robison of Florida and sister, Becky Isaac of Florida and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 26, 2021 from 4 pm to 6 pm at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, OH 44857. Burial will follow at a later date at Woodlawn Cemetery in Norwalk with military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, P.O.
