Wanda Brumfield, 58, a resident of Clinton, LA, died on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, with her husband and daughter by her side. There will be a visitation on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Galilee Baptist Church in Zachary from 9:00amuntil funeral services at 11:00am, conducted by Rev. Andrew Williams. Burial will be at Azalea Rest Cemetery. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Bryant Brumfield; one daughter, Amy Michelle Simmons and her husband Obey of Sumrall, MS; her mother, Hattie Lois Smith Hoyt; her brother, Michael Wayne Hoyt; six grandchildren: Breanna Calvin, Katelynn Calvin, PJ Drennan, Savannah Simmons, Jagger Simmons, and Tye Simmons; and great-grandchild Sebastian Bullock; her brothers-in-law and spouses Charles and Holly Brumfield, Terry Brumfield and Kelly, Jack Brumfield and Donna and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Jewel Hoyt, and her step-son Burlin Brumfield III. Pallbearers will be Charles Richard Brumfield, Charles “CJ” Brumfield Jr, Jack Brumfield Jr, Rodney Hoyt, Obey Simmons, and Brandon Reynolds. She was a faithful member of the Galilee Baptist Church. Wanda never met a stranger. She loved to sit and talk to everyone! She had a great love for LSU football….especially when they played Ole Miss! Most of all Wanda loved spending time with her husband Bryant! Wanda was loved by many and will be dearly missed!
