Marjory Denmen Klassen Kelowna, British Columbia Obituary

Marjory Denmen Klassen

KLASSEN, Marjory Denman (nee Kennedy), was born in Dundee, Scotland on August 13, 1928. After meeting John (Jack) Klassen and falling in love, they were married in 1945 in Scotland during World War Two. She immigrated to Canada as a young war bride a year later. Marjory and Jack had six children and moved to several Air Force bases in Canada as they raised their family, eventually settling in Winnipeg. They retired to Kelowna several years later. Sadly, she was predeceased by her beloved husband Jack of 64 years, and dear children Marion, Brian, and Holly. Marjory was a survivor and she retained her playful sense of humour and generous nature that she was always known for. Marjory passed away peacefully shortly before her 93rd birthday on July 18, 2021. She is survived by daughters Donna Jubinville (Claude), Trish Jansen (Mike), and son Dennis Klassen (Kathie), as well as sons in law Harry Wright, Robert Fudge, and daughter in law Sandi Klassen. Marjory’s legacy also includes numerous devoted grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was loved and will be missed until we are reunited in heaven.
