Steven Joseph Moody Sr.

Steven Joseph Moody Sr., age 64, of Darlington, Maryland passed away on July 19, 2021 at his home. Born in Syracuse, New York, he was the son of Willie Joe Moody and Clara Esther (Peck) Albin and husband of Sigrid B. Moody. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a civilian employee of the DoD. He also was a member of Hogs and Heroes MD-2 and the VFW in Aberdeen. Steven is survived by his wife Sigrid Moody; sons, Steven (Robin) Joseph Moody, Jr. and Cody Creamer; daughters, Kelly (Alex) Sandoval, Lisa Moody (Chris), Ursula (Ralf) Kunz and Skyler Creamer; sisters, Debbie Hays, Mary Franken, Kathy Meyer, and Wendy Fairfax; brother, James Moody; and twelve grandchildren, as well as, his brother-in law John (Birgit) Fogarty. Steven liked the outdoors, going fishing and hunting. He set up the Hogs and Heroes donation table every week in Darlington and gladly helped with their fundraising efforts which got him the name “Fry Daddy”. A service will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at McComas Funeral Home, Bel Air, Maryland at 4 pm. Hogs and Heroes will be conducting a Flag Line starting at 3pm.
