DOROTHY ELEANOR RYDER JUNE 14, 1923 – JULY 20, 2021 Peacefully, at Caressant Care Nursing Home in Courtland on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, Dorothy Eleanor (Worthington) Ryder passed away at the age of 98 years. Beloved wife of the Late Edwin (Ed) Ryder. Dear mother of Glenna (Bill) Cargill and Gloria (Bill) Floyd. Loving Nana of Michelle (Darrell) Marshall, Nicole (Jason) Hand, Paul (Katie) Floyd, Amy (Brooks) Corr and great-grandchildren Holden, Alexis, Jackson, Olivia, William, Eleanor, Walker, Dempsey, Ann Dozier and Cromwell. Predeceased by her parents Nicholas and Susan (Clark) Worthington and her brother Kenneth Worthington. In keeping with Dorothy’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Caressant Care Nursing Home, Courtland or the charity of your choice may be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted by the Ryder family.
