Pat John LaNotte

<p>Pat LaNotte, 87, a native and lifelong resident of Fresno passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021, after a brief diagnosed illness. Pat was born to Italian immigrants from Bari, Frank and Mary Parisi LaNotte and grew up in the close-knit Italian Community of West Fresno where he attended St. Alphonsus Church and School later to attend Edison High School. Following High School Pat was drafted into the US Army during the Korean War and served 18 months in Germany. Returning from his military service, he worked on the family ranches before starting his career with DiSalvo Trucking where he worked for 30 years before retiring.<br /> <br /> Pat in retirement also enjoyed working at Fig Garden Golf Club as a marshal and then later tending bar in the clubhouse. Working out at Sierra Sport and Racket Club and Crunch Fitness was a regular routine. Pat was a former member of the Dante Club. Pat&nbsp; married his wife Linda on, November 28, 1959 at St. Alphonsus Church. Over the years Pat and Linda enjoyed traveling, including every state except North Dakota, numerous trips to Europe, Asia and South America. Pat and Linda are members of Our Lady of Victory Parish. Most recently Pat&rsquo;s mornings were spent solving the worlds issues with his coffee group at The Market on Herndon and West Avenues.<br /> <br /> In addition to his parents, Pat was preceded in death by a sister Pauline Bruno. Pat is survived by his wife of 62 years 7 months and 20 days, Linda of Fresno, his daughter Kim Ziegler and her husband Greg of Lincoln University, PA., his brothers Joe LaNotte and his wife Vera and Frank LaNotte all of Fresno. He is the proud grandfather of Kyle Ziegler and Tara Ziegler Contreras and the great grandfather of Lucia Contreras, Amelia Contreras, and Samuel Contreras. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.<br /> <br /> Recitation of the Rosary followed by Mass of Christian will be on Monday, July 26, 2021 at 10 AM. at Our Lady of Victory Church, Fresno.<br /> <br /> Interment will follow at St. Peter&rsquo;s Cemetery.<br /> <br /> Remembrances in lieu of flowers suggested to The Poverello House, 412 F.
