Linda Hardisty
<p>Linda Hill Hardisty, 78, of Fredericksburg peacefully passed to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 18, 2021. She was comforted by her husband Ron, son Rob, daughter-in-law Brooke, and granddaughter Alexis at the time of her passing.</p> <p>Linda loved her family dearly as she was primarily a stay at-home mom while raising her sons, Rob and Mark. She was affectionately known as the original “soccer mom” shuffling around to soccer games, tournaments, and practices. In her spare time, she loved to sit down to some craft time or master some crossword puzzles while dinner was cooking.</p> <p>She was born in Washington D.C., February 7, 1943 to LTCOL Ralph L. Hill and Leora S. Hill.</p> <p>Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband, Ron of 55 years; son Rob (Brooke); granddaughter Alexis; sister Christine Knapp (Chet); brothers John Hill (Brenda) and David Hill (Mary); and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter Marguerite; and son Mark.</p> <p>A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday July 24, 2021 at Hope Presbyterian Church. A private interment will be held in Quantico National Cemetery at a later date.</p> <p>In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the National MS Society or your local SPCA.</p>February 7, 1943 - July 18, 202102/07/194307/18/2021
