Robert A. Raffield, 76, of Panama City, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 18, 2021. Robert was born on February 23, 1945 in Port St. Joe, FL and attended Port St. Joe High School. He was a life-long commercial fisherman and crew boat captain in the oil field and possessed an exceptional knowledge of the Gulf and fishing. Robert loved hunting, fishing and cooking seafood. He loved his God, family and friends and was a member of Central Pentecostal Ministries in Lynn Haven. Robert is preceded in death by his daughter, Shelley Walding; son, Chris Raffield; parents, Robert L. and Decima Raffield; and sisters, Amy, Iris, Shirley, Sonja and Lou Sue. Left to treasure his memory is his wife of 56 years, Linda Davis Raffield; son, Phillip Raffield (Mary); son-in-law, Chris Walding; grandchildren, Zack Walding (Katy), Ethan Walding, Arron Raffield and Christopher Raffield; great-grandson, Lucas Lee Walding; uncle Donald Raffield (Dot), aunt Myrtice Smith and numerous family members. A visitation will take place on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 23, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Central Pentecostal Ministries, with Rev. Donald Shoots and Pastor Chad Bass officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Pleasant Rest Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Bobby Shiver, Brian Rodgers, Randy Raffield, Darrel Melvin, Sam Holt, Aaron Jarzynka. Honorary pallbearers are O’Neal Sanders, Danny Raffield, Cody Raffield, and Tommy Ward.
