SHIRLEY F. BUROKER
<p>Shirley F. Buroker, 83, of Piqua, died at 2:25 p.m. Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at the Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit. She was born November 3, 1937 in Corbin, Kentucky to the late Floyd and Helen (Cox) Taylor Sr. She married Stanley A. Buroker November 24, 1956 in Piqua; he preceded her in death August 10, 2014.</p> <p>Survivors include a son, Randy (Cindy) Buroker of Troy; two daughters, Vickie (Tim) Chappie of Piqua, Melissa (Alfred) Felver of St. Paris; seven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and one sister, Betty Lazos of Oviedo, Florida. She was preceded in death by three brothers.</p> <p>Mrs. Buroker was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, antiquing and attending auctions. Additionally, she enjoyed watching QVC as well as tending to her yard. She was a constant caretaker, caring for and raising her family, then caring for her late husband when he fell ill. She will be deeply missed by her loving family.</p> <p>A graveside service to honor her life will be held privately at Forest Hill Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are being provided to the family through the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County, Inc. P.O. Box 502, Troy, OH 45373.
