<p><br /> Hilda T. Junkin passed away on Monday, July 20, 2021, at the age of 87.<br /> Hilda was born in Hermanville, MS, on August 13, 1933, the daughter of Walter Ray Thedford and Minnie Lee Chancellor Thedford.&nbsp; She was a Baptist minister&#39;s daughter, a dairy farmer, a Licenced Practical Nurse for a number of years and on to Registered Nurse.&nbsp; Throughout most of her working career she was a single mother raising three children she was greatly proud of, as well as nieces and nephews that she treated as her own.&nbsp; She had a very strong faith, a very giving nature and a servant&#39;s heart.&nbsp; She liked to help people in need.&nbsp; During her lifetime she gave away a medium sized fortune and considered herself blessed to be able to do it.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /> She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Jimmie L. Galbreath, Sr. and second husband David Junkin, and her brothers Walter E. Thedford and Samuel C. Thedford.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /> She is survived by her daughter Sallie C. Galbreath, sons Jimmie Lee Galbreath, Jr. (Maribeth) and Donald M. Galbreath (Sherry), brother Donald R. Thedford (Dianne) and sisters Joyce L. Craven and M. L. Jones, grandchildren&nbsp;, Jay Papison, Andrew Galbreath, Michael Christopher Shane Conguista, Melissa Crystal Shane Conguista Lovorn, Amanda Lori Ryan, Eric Anderson, Duncan Conley Galbreath and Sherry Gwen Galbreath, great-grandchildren Kristen McKay Conguista Bray, Gavin Lovorn and J. J. Lovorn.<br /> A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Glenwood Funeral Home in Port Gibson with Ronald Walters officiating the service.&nbsp; Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service.&nbsp; Burial will follow in Hermanville Cemetery.<br /> Pallbearers will be Donald Galbreath, Michael Conguista, Duncan Galbreath, William Coleman, Eddie Orcutt, Nathaniel Bray, and Ronald Walters.&nbsp; Honorary pallbearers will be Darryl Ray Craven and Andrew Hopkins.<br /> Memorials may be made to Hermanville Cemetery, 1178 Abby Road, Hermanville, MS. 39086<br /> &nbsp;</p>
