Richard (Rick) F. Trujillo Obituary

Richard (Rick) F. Trujillo, born on February 28, 1964, to parents Cecilia and Richard Trujillo, a long-life resident of Espanola departed this life on Friday, July 16, 2021.

He is preceded in death by his parents Cecilia Salazar, Richard Trujillo, infant niece Kayla Trujillo, Maternal grandparents Adolfo and Odilia Morfin and paternal grandparents Fernando and Cleotilde Trujillo. Favorite Uncle Juaquin Morfin.

Survived by his sisters; Geraldine (Mark), Judy (Mike), brothers; Fernando (Patti), Hernando (Marietta), Miguel (Maria). Stepsister Leanne; his stepfather Henry Salazar and wife Grace Salazar they were there for him and loved him as their own and would help him with anything he needed, did not matter what day or time.

He Cherished his nieces and nephews, Stephanie (Anthony) Ramirez, Joseph (Vanessa) Ramirez, Hosanna (Ian) Ramirez, JB (Riley) Laxton, Kevin Laxton, Fernando Jr Trujillo, Alexandra (Andres) Trujillo, Vinz Trujillo, Meeka Trujillo, Melanie (Jason) Trujillo and Meghan Trujillo along with great nieces Ianna Isidoro, Emma Blu, Kaylee, Gabriella, Natalie Shroulote, Maggie May, And great nephew Antonio Miguel, Jose and Laelah. He also had a cousin that he would always say he is like my brother Melvin Morfin and a cousin he was close to Amanda Mossman;  his uncles and aunts Jose (Ramona) Morfin, Martha (Sam) Baldonado, Isabel (Terry) Blessing, Eli (Kathy) Morfin, Alicia (Eddie) Salazar, Alicia and Eddie were there always helping. They would help him and taking care of him in whatever he needed, and we appreciate everything you did for him. Edward (Eva) Morfin, and Melba (Brett) McNeil, he is also survived by many other cousins and friends who he loved very much, and they loved him the same.

Our Brother was a great Artist and enjoyed creating his art. He loved to draw, painting, doing pottery, and he mostly loved welding. He loved spending time with his friends and family. He loved going to La Mesa and visiting his uncle Joaquin.

Ricky at any time would call you and end his phone call with “I love you and God Bless You” He would always make you feel and know how much he loved you. He was one of the kindest persons you will ever know. And can say he genuinely loved his family and friends.

Devotional service will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. The family of Richard (Rick) F.
