CLIFTON SPRINGS - Irene E. Stadtmueller, age 77, died on Sunday (July 18, 2021) at Clifton Springs Hospital. There will be no prior calling hours. Burial will be private for the family. It is requested that memorial donations be made to the Phelps Library, 8 Banta Street Suite 200, Phelps, NY 14532 or Ontario-Yates Hospice, 756 Pre-Emption Road Geneva, NY 14456. Irene was born on December 9, 1943 in Stewartsville, N.J., the daughter of the late William and Helen Rush Leh Jr. She was an avid reader and the library was her best friend. Most important to Irene was her family. She is survived by her children Jacquelyn Schwab of Bethlehem, Pa., John (Chris) Schwab of Wind Gap, Pa., Kelly (Bill) Symonds of Phelps, Jesse Green of Rochester, Clyde Green of Clifton Springs and Shannon (Yana) Green of Phelps; brother, Richard (Sherry) Leh of Easton, Pa.; 15 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her twins Luke and Kenneth; husband, Herman Stadtmueller; and sister, Dorothy Young.
