Shawn A. Day – Salem, NH

It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my beloved husband.  Shawn died peacefully at home on July 20, 2021 with his family by his side.  Shawn was the son of the late, Richard and Alice (Wagstaff) Day.  He was born in Lowell, MA and raised in Tewksbury, MA and Salem, NH.  Shawn served his Country in the United States Marine Corps for 4 years and he was honorably discharged.  Following his time in the service, he was employed by Coca-Cola in Londonderry, NH.  He had many different jobs including machine operator.  Shawn loved and was loved by his Coke family.  He worked for Coca-Cola for 41 years.

Shawn met and married the love of his life, Judy (Garland) Day.  They married on September 11, 1981.

Shawn was dog daddy to Candy & Peanut.  He enjoyed all sports and loved going to NASCAR races with his family and friends.  He even got to meet his hero, Dale Earnhardt Sr.

In his earlier years he was an AA dart player, he also loved playing golf.  Shawn and Judy enjoyed and spent time at Plum Island, MA he just loved the ocean.  They also enjoyed spending time with each other and their families.

Shawn was a fighter, strong and determined and he never even complained.  Thank you Shawn for teaching us what it looks like to never give up.

Shawn is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Judy Day of Salem, NH, his brother Rick & Lynne Day of Pelham, NH, his sisters, Robin LeClercq of West Stewarts Town, NH and Maureen of Manchester, NH.  Several nieces and nephews also survive him.
