NEUBIG, KURT Passed away peacefully at his home in North Bay on July 18, 2021 at the age of 91. Dear husband of Ruth Neubig (nee Richt). Lovingly remembered by his nieces Brigitte and Gaby, God children and their families, Tim Scott (Paula), Kim Broberg (Rob) and Kristina Wyman (Nick). Predeceased by his parents Ernst & Emma Neubig and his beloved sister Erika. Kurt was born in Stuttgart, Germany and came to Canada in 1951. He was associated with Ontario Electrical Construction Company Limited for 56 years and established their Northern Ontario operation in 1961 from which he retired in 2010. For many years Kurt served as a Director of the Electrical Contractors Association of Northern Ontario. He enjoyed travel, gardening, skiing, and many outdoor activities at their Trout Lake home. Kurt treasured his relationship with his nieces, God children and their families and the many good times spent with the wonderful collection of his friends and acquaintances. Respecting Kurt’s wishes cremation has taken place and a Private celebration of life will be held at a later date. If desired, donations may be made to the North Bay District Hospital Foundation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
