Darrell M. Grams

ROCKLAND, MICHIGAN – Darrell Grams, age 65 of Rockland, Mich., went home to the Lord on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison, Wis. He was born in Brainerd, Minn., on Nov. 4, 1955, to Lloyd and Daisy Grams. He attended Brainerd High School. Following high school, he was in insurance before becoming manager at Mr. Spindle and Herter’s, until retiring to Rockland in 2004. Darrell’s hobbies included fishing, hunting, atving, snowmobiling, woodworking, and remodeling. On August 6, 1977, he married the love of his life, Cindy Abear. Darrell is survived by his wife; sons, Jason (Tanya) and Shawn (Megan); daughter, Nikki (Jim) Feuerhammer; seven grandchildren, Mackenzie, Parker, Hayden, Riley, Gavin, Carson and Deblynn, all of Wisconsin; brothers, Jerry and Ron; sisters, Glenda Hohesiel and Diane Schlegel; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Richard, and a sister, LaVonne. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at ST. PAUL’S UNITED METHODIST CHURCH in Rockland, Mich. Visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Following the luncheon at the church, there will be a celebration at the cabin on the river. He will be sadly missed by many, but never forgotten.
