Leonor L. Rodriguez age 78, passed away July 18, 2021. She was born on June 3, 1943 to Jesus and Carmen Lopez in Coahuila, Mexico. Leonor was raised in Corpus Christi, Texas and graduated from Miller High School in 1963.

Leonor married her husband, Efrain Rodriguez of 57 years on October 26, 1963. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Leonor enjoyed gardening, cooking and watching Judge Judy. She will always be remembered for her commitment to Christ, love and devotion to our family and self-sacrifice.
Leonor is preceded in death by her father, Jesus Lopez and mother, Carmen Longoria Lopez.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Efrain Rodriguez; her three sisters, Isabel Falcon, Maria Mendoza and Beatrice Lopez; her four children, Monica Pettus, Arlene Rodriguez, Efrain Rodriguez Jr and Roxanne Hurtado; spouses, Timothy Pettus, Diann Rodriguez and Michael Hurtado; her ten grandchildren, Carmen Longoria-Green, Alexander Pettus, Kitty Leonor, Matthew Pettus, James Aceves,
Ashley Rodriguez, Efrain J. Rodriguez, Ryan Rodriguez, Diego Hurtado and Desiah Hurtado.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, July 23, 2021 at SS Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church with Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.

Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are Alexander J. Pettus, James A. Aceves, Ryan M. Rodriguez, Matthew J. Pettus, Efrian J. Rodriguez and Diego A. Hurtado.

Memorial donations may be made in Leonor’s name, to Sisters of Charity.

Lunch to follow at SS Cyril and Methodius Dining Hall from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
