Adam, James "Jim" Bain

Passed away peacefully with family by his side at Soldier's Memorial Hospital Orillia, on Sunday July 18th, 2021, in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Pat Adam (nee Lamb). Loving father of Kelly Adam (Ron Hoseman) and Krista Evans (Rod). Cherished Papa of Emily and Bradley Evans. Predeceased by his siblings Wesley Adam, Jean Parr (Ted), and Bruce Adam. Survived by his sister-in-law Joyce of London. Fondly remembered by Betty & Bill Wilson, Karen & Barry Stockdale, all his nieces, nephews and extended family.

Jim was a proud resident of Orillia, happily keeping watch over Lake Simcoe from his home of 50 years on Smiths Bay.  He had a strong work ethic and enjoyed a challenging career in the manufacturing sector.  Never being one to sit still, he filled his retirement years keeping active and social; golfing, curling, and working out at the YMCA.  He was devoted to his family, always supportive and full of pride for his girls, and enjoyed many fun times and lots of treats with Em and B.

The family would like to sincerely thank Dr. Peter Daniel, Barrie Cancer Centre, Odette Cancer Centre and LHSC for their outstanding medical care and support.

 

Friends and relatives will be received at the Mundell Funeral Home 79 West St. N., Orillia, on Monday July 26th from 4 -7 PM and on Tuesday, July 27th from 12 noon until time of funeral service at 1 o'clock in the chapel.
