Susan P. Soccodato of Fort Pierce, FL passed away in Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in Fort Pierce on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at the age of 94. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation from 9:15 – 10:15 AM on Friday, July 23, 2021 at St. Rose of Lima Church, Short Hills, NJ followed by the Funeral Mass to begin 10:30 AM. Susan was born in Madison, NJ to Josephine (nee Allocco) and Joseph Mele. She met and married her husband Clyde Soccodato and together they raised their family in Summit. Susan was the co-owner, along with her husband Clyde, of Rose City Sheet Metal in Summit, NJ. Susan is survived by her loving children, Clyde E. (Diana) Soccodato and Peter G. (Karen) Soccodato; her cherished grandchildren Michael, David (Alison), Peter G., Jr. (Lisa) and Kristin Soccodato and Kerry (Christopher) Remillard; her great- grandchildren Justin, Jacoby, Amelia, Benjamin, Peter III, and Anthony Soccodato and Jack, Katie and William Remillard. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 52 years, Clyde Soccodato and her dear siblings, Albert, Pasquale, Augustine, Eugene, and David Mele, Josephine Gilmartin and Louise Roschow.
