BETTY JO MARTIN Betty was born Feb. 28th 1939 to Joe and Gussie Mallory in Lamar, Missouri. She passed away June 2nd , 2015 in Chico, Calif. at the age of 76. Betty leaves behind her beloved husband, Charlie Martin, 4 children: Terria Dahl, Dan Martin, Jeff (Julie) Martin, Troy (Jennifer) Martin; 11 grandchildren: Mike, Michelle (John), Taryn (Ben), Keith (Kirby), Tyler, Tori (Caty) Trevor, Jessica, Baylee, Joseph, Trent; 9 great-grandchildren: Michael John, Airic, Mallory, Elizabeth, Aidan, Rush, Aly, Emmah, and Claire. Betty worked in local real estate for over 20 years. She loved her big family, always encouraging more grandchildren. She enjoyed travel, especially her and Charlie's trips to Reno, and was saddened when she could no longer make trips in their motorhome. Betty was also known as an expert shopper, always finding the best bargains. A visitation will be held from 5pm to 8pm, Fri., June 5th at Brusie Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held at noon, Sat., June 6th at Our Divine Savior Catholic Church with graveside services to follow at Glenn Oaks Memorial Park. Contributions may be made in Betty's name to the American Heart Association or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in care of the funeral home.
