Raymond E. Whitworth Loveland, Ohio Obituary

Raymond E. Whitworth

Raymond E. Whitworth of Cincinnati. Loving father of Justin (Amy) Whitworth and Chase Whitworth. Cherished grandfather of Jackson & Nolan Whitworth. Beloved companion of Debbie Wessel and her children Patricia & Peter. Dear brother of Kathleen Lanham and Nancy Whitworth. Proud uncle of Brad (Amy) Noll, Brieahna (Nick) Kormos, and Brian (Megan) Gray. Great uncle of Maggie, Matthew, Anna, Julia, and Lucy. He passed away on July 17, 2021 at the age of 65 after a hard fought battle with cancer. Ramie loved so many things in life. He was an avid baseball player for over 40 years. He would spend time almost everyday playing his guitar and singing. Tennis, racquetball, and biking were some of his hobbies. He would even bike to work on nice days with his backpack in tow. The water was a true place of relaxation for Ray. Whether he was on one of his many sailboat trips to the Caribbean or at the condo in Florida, he was taking in every sight. Traveling the country had become a true passion. Ramie was quite the jokester and loved to discuss politics even when he knew he shouldn't. He was a proud man and loved his country, God, and his family & friends. He will truly be missed. Family and friends will be received from 6-8 PM on Friday, July 23 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N Riverside Ave, Loveland, OH 45140. A Celebration of Life will be held from 4-8 PM on Sunday, August 8 at The Redmoor, 3187 Linwood Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45208. Donations in memory of Ray may be directed to Stand Up to Cancer, P.O.
