<p>Graveside service celebrating the life of&nbsp;De&rsquo;ja Lakia Bolden, 25&nbsp;of Decatur, AL will be 12:00 pm Saturday at&nbsp;Sterrs Cemetery with Apostle Carter&nbsp;Videau officiating. Public viewing will be Friday from 2;00 pm till 6:00 pm at Reynolds Funeral Home. &nbsp;<br /> <br /> On January 22, 1996 an angel, De&rsquo;Ja Lakia Bolden, entered the earth. She was born to Tavoris Bolden and LaTanya Swopes Bolden. De&rsquo;Ja was a lifelong resident of Decatur, Alabama. She departed this life much too soon, July 19, 2021.</p> <p>De&rsquo;Ja accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age under the leadership of&nbsp;Elder Calvin M. Hood Sr. at Flower Hill COGIC. She served as a devoted member singing in the choir and performing other Christian duties before later moving her membership to Wayman Chapel AME church under the leadership of the Reverend Robert Hereford Sr. At the time of her death, she attended Victory Church under the leadership of Apostle Carter Videau.</p> <p>De&rsquo;Ja was educated in the Decatur City School System and graduated from Austin High School in 2014. After graduation she attended Calhoun Community College. While there she was a member of the Black Student Alliance and served as a work study student in Student Support Services. She was employed as a team member at Chick-fil-A at the time of her death.</p> <p>De&rsquo;Ja was a devoted mother. Her children meant everything to her. She loved spending time with her family. Her beautiful smile and personality will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.</p> <p>De&rsquo;Ja was preceded in death by her father; Tavoris Bolden, and grandfather; George Swopes Sr.</p> <p>&nbsp;She leaves to cherish her memory her children; Kymari Jace, Kalani MaRae, and Kylen Jamir, mother; Latanya Davis (Mario), sisters; Je&rsquo;Da Bolden, Ade&rsquo;Ja Bolden, brother; Jared Bolden, special sisters; Diamond Davis, Ashley Davis, special brother; Mario Davis Jr. (Brooke), grandparents; James and Edna Bolden, Dorothy Swopes, Barbara Taylor, God Mother; Robin Burks Clay, many aunts, uncles, nieces, a nephew, and cousins.</p>
