Barbara Heavner McDavid, 73, of Newton passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021 at her residence. She was born January 11, 1948 in Catawba County to the late William and Thelma White Heavner. Barbara was a graduate of Fred T. Foard High School, member of Grace Lutheran Church in Newton, and retired from the medical field after many years of service. She enjoyed traveling and caring for her newfoundland, Stryker. Those left to cherish her memory are; Son: Justin McDavid of Newton Brother: William Heavner and wife Joy of Newton Niece: Nicole H.
