MARY J. WOODHAM DOTHAN…Mary J. Woodham, a resident of Dothan, Alabama, passed away Monday morning, July 19, 2021, at home, surrounded by love. She was 73. Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, July 23, 2021, at First United Methodist Church of Dothan with Bishop Lawson Bryan officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 P.M. before the service. Wright Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements. Mary Jo was born at Langley Field in Hampton, Virginia, on December 10, 1947, to Mary Evelyn Edmunds Taylor and Lieutenant Colonel James Arthur Taylor. With her parents, Mary Jo experienced traveling around the world, inspiring Mary Jo’s lifelong passions for food, art, architecture, and culture. Mary Jo was a talented artist, chef, and successful business entrepreneur having opened Vino Vino in Dothan, Alabama and The Bottle Tree Restaurant in Headland, Alabama. Mary Jo will be remembered as a faithful friend, a devoted daughter, and a loving mother. She is survived by her children, Whitney Lane Woodham of Dothan, AL and David Taylor Woodham (Peggy) of Tallahassee, FL.
